Every house in Phoenix has that one room that never cools down

It's not your thermostat. Its not your vents. Your builder probably installed the smallest unit that would pass inspection - and now one room pays the price. We fix it without replacing your AC.

Starting at $2,495 fully installed

You've tried everything. That one room is still hotter than the rest of the house

You're closed vents in other rooms. Cranked the thermostat down to 68. Added curtains, fans, even portable ACs. Nothing works - because the problem isn't airflow. Its capacity. and it started the day your house was built.

Why a Mini Split?

Your AC was undersized on Purpose

Arizona builder install the smallest system that passes code - not the right one for your floor plan. That back bedroom, upstairs bonus room, or west-facing master was always going to struggle. You just didn't know it until your first July.

Long duct runs lose the battle

The room farthest from your air handler gets the weakest airflow. By the time cooled air travels 40+ feet through your attic in 150 heat, it arrives lukewarm. No amount of vent adjustment fixes physics.

Replacing your AC wont fix one room

HVAC companies love to quote you a $12,000 full system replacement. But if only one or two rooms are hot, you dont need a new system - you need a targeted solution that cools where your central AC cant reach.

Not Central Ac,

Not a Window Unit

Independent from your central AC

A mini split runs on its own circuit and its own thermostat. It doesnt compete with your central system for capacity - it adds cooling exactly where the deficit is.

No ductwork means no heat loss

Your central AC loses up to 30% of its cooling in the attic before air reaches your problem room. A mini split delivers cold air directly to the wall - zero loss, zero wasted energy

Zone control

Your central AC has one thermostat for the whole house. A mini split gives the hot room its own temperature control. Set it to 72 while the rest of the house runs at 76 - and stop freezing the living room to cool the bedroom.

Costs less than you think

A full replacement runs $8,000-$15,000. A Mini split for one room starts at $2495 installed. You're solving a $2,500 problem not a $12,000

Our Happy Customers

Jennifer M.

Genuine Customer - Litchfield Park, Az

"Our master bedroom was always hotter than the rest of the house. We spent $200 on a portable AC that did nothing. Elite Desert HVAC installed a mini split and now its the most comfortable room in the house."

Carlos R.

Genuine Customer - Avondale, Az

"The upstairs bonus room was unusable in the summer. 2 HVAC companies told us we needed a whole new system for $14,000. These guys put a mini split for a fraction of that and its been 70 up there ever since."

Amanda L.

Genuine Customer - Goodyear, Az

"Our builder clearly cut corners on the AC. The 2 bedrooms were always warm. One mini split in the hallway solved both rooms. I wish we'd done this 3 summers ago."

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is one room in my house so much hotter than the rest?

Usually it's one of three things: your builder installed an undersized AC to cut costs, the room is at the end of a long duct run through a superheated attic, or the room faces west and takes a direct afternoon sun. Often its a combination. The result is the same - your central AC cant deliver enough cooling to that specific room.

Will a mini split actually cool my garage when its 115+ outside?

Yes, Mini splits use inverter compressors rated to operate at 120+ ambient temperature. Unlike window units and portable ACs that tap out around 100, a mini split ramps up to match the heat load. That's why they're the standard for desert cooling.

Do I need to upgrade my electrical panel?

In most cases, no. A mini split runs on a dedicated 20-amp or 30-amp circuit. If your panel has space for a new breaker - and most homes do - no upgrade is needed. We'll assess this during the quoting process.

How much does it cost to run a mini split in my garage?

Most homeowners see $20–$30/month added to their electricity bill when running the mini split regularly. Inverter technology means the unit only draws full power during initial cool-down, then ramps down to maintain temperature — so it's not running full blast 24/7.

Do I need to insulate my garage first?

It helps but it's not required. A mini split will cool an uninsulated garage — it'll just work harder. If your garage has no insulation at all, we may recommend a slightly larger unit. We'll factor this into your quote.

What if I want to heat my garage in the winter too?

Mini splits are heat pumps — they cool in the summer and heat in the winter. One unit, year-round climate control. Phoenix winters are mild, but if you're out in the garage at 5 AM in January, the heat mode keeps it comfortable without a space heater.
